When your breath freezes and the wind lashes against your face, it is your reliable companion. The Alpine Star is the thermos bottle for true adventures

The path lies before you. For now, your breath is steady, the landscape is vast, and every step is light. But you know: there is no shortcut to the top.

The steps get harder. The wind whistles. Muscles burn. Hands grip the rock, boots find purchase in the scree.
The SIGG bottle is there with you, a natural part of your equipment. Step by step.

The climb is behind you. Your pulse slows down. Your view opens up. No noise, no thinking, just the wind and the expanse before you. Then you reach for your water bottle.

You close your eyes. Cold liquid flows into your mouth. For a brief moment, there is nothing. Then you open your eyes again.
Everything is back. Clear. Vast. Overwhelming. This is exactly why you made the journey.

The Segnesboden is an impressive destination for a day in alpine nature. One possible route leads from the Nagens mountain station or the Alp Nagens shuttle station via an alpine hiking trail to the Segnesboden in about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once you arrive at the Segnesboden, three special places with impressive views and very different atmospheres await you along the trail: the gravel bank, the waterfall, and the limestone scree. Take your time to let the vastness of the landscape sink in, breathe deeply, and enjoy the moment with a refreshing sip from your SIGG bottle.
Gravel bar
After about 10 minutes from the Segneshütte, you will reach the gravel bank. When the water level is low, the shore becomes a special place for a short break: the water, the stones, and the mountain landscape create a calm, pristine atmosphere.
Here you can pause for a moment, let your gaze wander, and enjoy the first sip from your SIGG bottle.
Waterfall
After about 25 minutes, the path leads to the waterfall, where the Segnesbach stream plunges from the upper to the lower Segnesboden. Here, water is the shaping force of the landscape and gives the place its special energy.
An impressive stop for those who want not only to cover distance, but to experience nature consciously along the way.
Limestone rubble
After about 45 minutes, you will reach the limestone scree area. The further you move away from the starting point, the more the landscape opens up and the more directly you experience the vastness of the Segnesböden.
The longest of the three paths is particularly suitable for an extended excursion with time for movement, relaxation, and the moment you reach the top.
